Essential Question Inquiry Project Reflection

I really enjoyed completing this project and learning more about my topic through researching and talking to other people. My essential question was "In what ways are animals an important part of our world and the lives of people?" In regards to this question, I learned about the different industries animals contribute themselves to, like horses and donkeys for transportation, cows and chickens for the food industry, and even pets like dogs and cats for recreation and pets. I learned how much joy and love they contribute to people's lives. The actual research went very well and I learned a lot of new things I didn't know even though I did have a good amount of knowledge on the topic. Putting the photo album together also went very well and I really enjoyed reading different people's stories and perspectives on the topic. I presented my information using a photo album with lots of pictures of different people's animals and stories. I think my presentation was effective because it was short and sweet and the pictures were a good visual to keep my group interested.

Listening to other people's project, I learned a lot about the medical industry. For example, Adrienne told us about the different jobs that nurses can have which was very interesting because I had little knowledge on the different opportunities nurses can have. This project taught me that it is important to space out your work load in order to create the best project you can. The only advice I have for my future college self is to focus on managing my time and spacing out my work load so that I can avoid procrastination.
